  • Significant Weather Event Declared – Freezing Rain Warning The Town of Stouffville has declared a Significant Weather Event, effective 4:00 p.m. on March 28, 2025, due to a Freezing Rain Warning issued by Environment Canada, with up to 10mm of ice accumulation expected. Roadways, sidewalks, multi-use paths, bicycle lanes, and laneways may become icy and slippery, and clearing efforts may take longer than usual—please use caution. Mar 28, 2025
  • Town Of Stouffville Launches Automated Speed Enforcement Program To Enhance Road Safety Stouffville has launched its Community Safety Camera Program, using Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) to improve road safety in school and community safety zones. The program, active as of March 17, 2025, issues tickets through the Administrative Monetary Penalty System (AMPS) without demerit points or insurance impacts, and revenue will support local safety initiatives.
